It is the process which distills the essence of a complex engineering assembly into its elementary components recognisably tractable engineering components.



This needs engineering education and substantial engineering wisdom and knowledge.



We will focus on the way a product is to be used, and the type of loading it will be subjected to, during its operational life. After all, it was these loads that the structure or component was designed to support without failing.



We would take a Shopping trolley design as an example to show our simple design engineering analysis from there, then we would develop the better shopping trolley for our future generations.
